WISH is a national charity working to provide gender-sensitive long-term support to women with mental health needs who are leaving prison and the secure hospital system.
Our funding will help WISH to expand its Community Link Project, providing tailored advice, advocacy and practical help to female ex-prisoners. Two-thirds of the beneficiaries from this project are likely to be from black and minority ethnic communities and just under a quarter will be under the age of 25.
