Why was your application unsuccessful?
The Foundation cannot fund all eligible applications even if they are of a high quality because each year the total amount requested by eligible charities exceeds our budget.
Other reasons for the Foundation not being able to make a grant include:
- charities’ core work not being sufficiently focused on our mission
- applications not falling within our guidelines
- charities not filling in the application form properly
- charities not having up to date annual returns or accounts filed with the Charities Commission or other relevant regulatory bodies.
If your application is unsuccessful you can wait a year and apply again.
