How do I apply?
We ask charities to check if they are eligible before they apply to the Foundation. You can complete our eligibility questionnaire on-line or over the phone by calling us on 0870 411 1223.
Once you have completed the questionnaire your local Grant Manager will be in touch to discuss whether or not your work is eligible and if it is, the next steps. Please note that you must speak to your local Grant Manager before you apply as they will discuss your funding needs with you and help you to make the best application (see Contact us for contact details). Our application form is available after you have spoken to your local Grant Manager.
Why can’t I find a copy of your application form on your website?
Our application form is only available after you have spoken to your local Grant Manager as it is important that you speak to the Grant Manager before you apply.
What if I am a national charity working across England and Wales - can I apply for national and local funding at the same time?
Please contact the local Grant Manager where your head office is based and they will take you through the eligibility check. We can consider either a national or a local application but not both.
What if I work in more than one geographical area - how do I apply?
Please contact the local Grant Manager in the area where the majority of your work takes place and they will guide you on how to make the best application if you are eligible.
Will you come and visit us?
Your local Grant Manager will carry out an assessment visit if you are applying for £5,000 or more or may discuss your funding needs over the telephone if you are applying for under £5,000.
