The Lloyds TSB Foundation for England and Wales is one of the UK’s leading grant makers and supports local, regional and national charities working at the heart of communities to tackle disadvantage across England and Wales. Our mission is:

A needs-driven funder
Our extensive network across England and Wales means our funding is always driven by local needs. We pride ourselves on our local and national presence and knowledge, strong links with the voluntary sector and our close personal contact with charities.
Our grants managers visit all charities applying for a grant of over £5,000 to ensure that we understand applicants’ needs and can give a high level of guidance and support.
An independent funder
We are a registered charity and an independent foundation. Our covenanted income comes from the 1% of pre-tax profits that the four Foundations receive from Lloyds Banking Group (formerly Lloyds TSB Group) averaged over three years. The four Foundations covering England and Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands have received more than £165 million over the last five years.
